New Delhi: IRCTC has launched a six-night and seven days flight package to South India. It will cover temples and places of Tirupati, Madurai, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari, Trivandrum and Kovalam. The package will feature a trip to Lord Balaji Temple, Sri Kalahasti Temple, Meenakshi Amman Temple, Ramanathaswamy Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Padmanabham Swamy Temple.
The name of the package is South India Divine Ex Jaipur and the tour will commence from September 17, 2019. This package will cost Rs 33,820 per person on triple occupancy. Tirumala temple is known for its architecture.
All the passengers enrolling for this package will be accommodated in Hotel Raj park for two nights in Tirupati, Poppys Hotel for one night in Madurai, Daiwik or Rameshwaram Grand for one night in Rameshwaram, Singer International or Gopinivas Grand for one night in Kanyakumari, Fortune South Park for one night in Trivandrum or a similar property.
The package cost will include return airfare from Jaipur to Chennai, Chennai to Madurai and Trivandrum to Jaipur, airport transfers by two 12-seater AC vehicles, sightseeing as per the itinerary by AC vehicle on sharing basis, Balaji special entry darshan ticket, Padmavati temple darshan ticket and Sri Kalahasti temple darshan ticket, tour escort, etc.
There are certain exclusions also such as meals in the flight, any portage at hotels, tips, insurance, mineral water, telephone charges, laundry and all items of personal nature. Any still or video camera fees or any activities suggested in the itinerary are chargeable. Apart from these, any additional meals or en route meals, sightseeing and activities other than those mentioned in the itinerary.
As per the itinerary, tourists will visit Lord Tirupati Balaji temple for darshan and visit Sri Kalahasti Temple on the day two of the tour. On the next day, they will visit Padmavati Temple, Iskcon Temple and Kapila Teertham, and proceed for Chennai to catch your flight to Madurai. On the fourth day, they will visit Meenakshi Amman temple and move for Rameshwaram. After that they will visit Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial and Dhanushkodi. Next day, they will travel to Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue, Kumari Amman Temple and enjoy the sunset view. In Trivandrum, passengers will visit, Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Kovalam Beach.
